Olivia O’Brien

Release Date: February 25, 2013

One of Olivia’s favorite quotes is, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll end up among the stars.” Her interest in the performing arts began when she was in the 4th grade.  For the past four years, she has performed dozens of Broadway songs through Young Singers Club show choirs and now with La Colina Junior High’s Outburst. Having studied voice privately with Brett Mutinelli for four years, Olivia recently started working on singing classical music and has been teaching herself piano.  Olivia has taken to the stage in several local theater groups, including Stage Left, Santa Barbara School of Performing Arts, and La Colina Junior High.  Her performances have included Beauty and the Beast, Grease, Legally Blonde and Aladdin, and she looks forward to Anything Goes this spring and Little Mermaid this summer. Her academics are extremely important to her and she works very hard to maintain good grades. She enjoys participating in student government, hanging out with friends, dance, zumba, and assisting with choreography at the Young Singers Club.  She plans to attend San Marcos High School and has her sights set on studying musical theatre and music education in college. Olivia feels fortunate to be a part of Teen Star and is thankful for her supportive family and friends.  She would also like to thank Teen Star for supporting performing arts in our local schools.
